These 17m solar festoon lights are a dead-easy way to add instant charm to your space, no power point needed. Whether you’re decorating for Chrissy, a backyard wedding, or just want your pergola to look schmick year-round, these lights do the job beautifully.

They run off a high-efficiency solar panel during the day and flick on automatically when the sun goes down, too easy. Got cloudy skies? Just top them up with a USB charge and you’re back in business.

The classic ST64 bulb shape adds a bit of old-school style, and you’ve got four light modes to switch things up, steady, slow flash, fast flash, or a burst flicker. And yes, it remembers your last setting so you’re not clicking through every time.
